The Game of Thrones again wrests our TV sets and our conscience, the world of twitter, replete with its trolls who do seem to get the best of people, and this time their victim is two time Grammy Winner, Ed Sheeran.
Ed Sheeran deleted his twitter account this week, without as much as a prior explanation or reason for deletion of his account. Since it was immediately after his cameo in the Game of Thrones, many people are speculating it was due to the criticism he received for his cameo, and some of the Twitter trolls probably managed to get the better of him. At the time of deletion, he had over 19.6 million followers, and a cached account reveals that the last tweet was sent out on Monday.

Sheeran had earlier remarked how a;; the negative comments had made him sick, and he had initially decided to call it quits already. He had once remarked, “I go on it and there’s nothing but people saying mean things,” Sheeran said. “Twitter’s a platform for that.”
But as of 9:15 Pacific Time(or 9:45 PM Indian Standard Time), looks like the account has been reactivated and Ed Sheeran is planning to start afresh, and restored his account to 3rd April 2015, with only 8k followers. Also to those trolls, the viewership grew up 27% as compared to the last season’s first episode premiere.
