A woman without curves is like a road without bends. There is nothing at all wrong with being a larger more curvaceous woman. You don’t have to be skinny to look sexy. Being curvy is something to be proud of. Size and weight do not define your beauty and worth.
Cosmopolitan India’s October issue features six women who are celebrating their curvy bodies. The motive of this shoot is to promote the idea that beauty does not conform to any standards. You shape or size does not defines your inner beauty. Check out these jaw dropping photographs:
Nitya Arora, designer.
“I’ve been curvy all my life, but this is the biggest I’ve ever been. But if you work on it, you can have a rocking bod at any size!”
Ragini Ahuja, designer.
“You can be big and fit or skinny and fit… My energy wouldn’t have fit any other body type!”
Angelique Raina, brand consultant.
“Being in the fashion space made me realise the amount of teamwork that goes into creating the ‘perfect body’ of celebrities and models. It’s important to see through the manufactured ideals in the media.”
Shyma Shetty, designer.
“We’ve had our ups and downs, but my body and I have become good friends now… I may not be the ‘perfect’ size, but I have strong limbs, soft curves, a sharp mind.”
Liza Golden, model.
“I’m pretty darn proud of my curves… I love my bum and my legs, and I’m not afraid to show them off. I know who I am, and I embrace my body the way it is!”
Sunny Leone, actor.
“I’ve embraced my body the way it is and I choose to be on camera that way.”
