She likes to blow her hair out straight with volume — but it’s not easy. She says that”I have really thick hair and drying it takes forever, I always want that salon-quality hair, but if I went to the salon every time I needed a blowout, I’d be on the street, broke. I had to learn how to do it on my own.”

So here are some amazing tips to get a Salon Blowout at home:

1.Build volume by pinning your hair while you dry it.

After drying a section of your hair, use your fingers to create a curl and pin it with the help of a bobby pin or a duck bill hair clip. Once that is done, run the drier cool over the curls. After that use a light volumizing spray. As the process gets completed you will have big and bouncy hair.

2. To add texture or absorb the second day oil, use a translucent powder.

With the help of your fingers, rub the powder in the roots. Sazan suggests to use translucent loose setting powder from Laura Mercier for the same purpose. The powder can also be used to disappear your bangs, by simply tossing your bangs to one side after the applying the powder.

3. If you don’t like the shape you got with the brush, use the straightening iron instead.

When you are blow drying your hair to straighten it, just a blow-dryer and a brush won’t help you to get the perfect look. Instead, use a straightening iron to finish the look. “Section by section, I’m blow-drying and straightening at the same time. Especially at the roots where it gets kinky. The straightener allows me to lock in a sleek style”, Sazan adds.

4. You need to move your brush in multiple directions, to blow-dry your bangs.

Sazan says,”Bangs are tough to blow-dry”. She learned a few tips from her stylist that what are the do’s and dont’s while blow-drying your hair.

The tips include: Make sure that your bangs are the last section you dry. Use a round brush, preferably a metal one .Set your blow-dryer to high heat.

When it comes to bangs, you need to remember that do not go up it will look harsh and you might not get the desired results. Instead, dry your bangs downwards, moving from the center and from left to right. First, section your bangs, pinning back the sections you’re not working on. Next, take your brush under your hair and blow it dry as you move your brush down. Pick your hair up with the brush again, switching from left to right as you apply the heat from your blow-dryer. To finish, use a water-based pomade on your ends. She uses the Soft Water Pomade from Baxter for the same purpose.

5. Do not forget to give your brush enough tension.

Remember to pull your brush tight enough while blow-drying your hair. “Don’t be afraid to pull,” Sazan said. Especially for the girls with curly hair she says, “get real tight at the root, which is what will allow the curls to relax.” Areas that need the most tension are around the crown, the sideburns, and the bangs.

6. Flip your hair over and use a texturizer spray for adding more volume.

After completing the process, flip your hair over and use your fingers or a brush and run it through your hair. Also apply a texturizer spray for the extra density.

7. While sleeping, pin your hair up to maintain your blow-dry.

If you want that your blowout should look amazing even the next day then clip your hair up before going to bed. Section it off and put the hair into loose twists. Avoid a hair tie. To get an extra bounce clip your hair higher.
