Celebrities are also humans, just like us. Despite their glamorous life, celebrities deal with interactions and struggles in the same way as common people do. Similarly, there have been celebrities who have suffered from mental illnesses like depression due to failures at work and in relationships because they’re not different from us.

Late in 2016, Selena Gomez checked herself into a rehab center because of her battle with depression. She underwent treatment and therapy away from the spotlight and came out fresh as ever. She’s never been better and talked gloriously about her struggles at the recent AMAs.

The gorgeous JK Rowling wasn’t always as famous and successful. In her 20s, she lived in Britain and had just started working on her amazing Harry Potter series. She couldn’t find publishers and was extremely broke. JK Rowling has never kept her struggle with depression a secret. She talks about it out in the open and wants more and more people to find the courage to face their mental health issues.

Before The Rock was a hunky wrestler, he had to go through some career obstacles. In his 20s, Dwayne was trying to make it as a footballer but didn’t get into NFL.
