This one looks like a cross between a rabbit and deer. A groups of enthusiastic and creative taxidermists had created this absurd animal way back in 1930s. They went on to mix and match the body, head and antlers. It was actually a joke, but people picked up on it and started believing that the animal existed. To add to the belief was the legends of horned rabbits and even hunter sightings of the kind. The head of the animal at the Wyoming Capitol Building has also led people to believe in it.

There is also the extra note of the creature having a special interest in beautiful ladies. The strange fact is that even though the organism can be taken back to the 17th century carvings, there are recent sightings reported.
