What do we want to become when we grow up? It is a question that most of us have been asked ever since we were kids. Some of us know the answer, most of us don’t. As we grow up, our priorities change and with them change our ambitions and passion. So, for those of you who don’t know what are your life ambitions, ask these somewhat quirky questions to yourself. They might help you in discovering what drives you and what you should be doing-

1. Your favorite shit sandwich?

This may seem like a weird and awful question to ask but it is the most important one. There are no free lunches in life. You have to put in a lot of effort and go through a lot of shit before you emerge on the other end to bask in the glory. So, it all comes down to how much shit can you take? Will you add something you like to make it more “edible”?

2. What would make your 8 yr old self-cry?

life ambitions

As children, we all love doing certain things. However, as we grow up, we stop doing them for some reason. As we grow older, we forget about those things all-together. We become people that our eight-year-old self would hate. So ask yourself, what such things are you doing?

3. What makes you forget to eat?

There are things that so engross us that while we are doing them, we forget to eat. They offer us such an extent of immersion that we forget to do our basic chores like eating etc. What are things that make you forget to eat?

4. How will you save the world?

The world is a messed up place. Everyone knows it but how are you going to save it? Pick up one problem that this world has and try thinking on how you are going to save it. Once you realize how you can save it, pick up your own personal problems and fix them.

5. What would you do if you knew you were going to die in a year?

life ambitions

Most of us don’t like to think about death. It is an uncomfortable and inconvenient topic to dwell upon. However, if you were told you had only a certain amount of time to live, what would you do first? Prioritize things. You don’t know when you might die so do the things you love.
