What do you think of this little furball?
Is it going to be your new favorite? I’m sure it’s gonna be mine!
This little nugget is supposed to the one of the rarest dog breeds in the world. The Shar-Pie originated from the basal breed which dated back to the 19th century, but it wasn’t identified as an actual breed of dog until 1992.
It is also a high-altitude breed. Just like the Siberian Husky, it isn’t meant for a tropical climate. The thick fur and the heavy body works as a great heat insulator and this breed is close to the Arctic dog.
It has triangular ears. As appearance goes, the puppies are wrinklier than the adult dogs. But aren’t they the cutest?
The Shar-Pie has nearly 16 different colors. The fur should be a solid color and the commonly found ones are cream, black, fawn, blue, chocolate, and apricot. The nose of the Shar-Pie is generally black in color.
They are extremely friendly. They are suspicious of strangers which originally makes it a guard dog. But they require early socialization and they work very well with kids.
Now that you know the Shar-Pie is literally your dream dog, what are you waiting for? You can finally ask your parents for the birthday present you’ve been wanting!
