If you like Feedfad, chances are you have at least heard about the listicle placed below. What we are almost sure for a majority of you is the fact that these shows are still on our to-do list.

Yes, people watch The House of Cards, F.R.I.E.N.D.S., Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad and other monster hits. But why do they stick to them and them only? They have gained worldwide popularity. Only a few take up the challenge of watching true gems that are out there – underappreciated, overlooked, underrated. It is hard to believe but yes, there is the world other than the “modern” TV series, and it deserves your attention as much as the former ones do.

We list down 10 of the most underrated/overlooked TV Series that you can start binge watching right away.

  1. That 70’s Show

Although loved by a particular section of fans, this series remains obscured, something it doesn’t deserve at all. Watch this show for Steven Hyde. The brutal honesty, self-mocking and condescending insinuations will make you instantly fall in love with the show.

  1. It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia

Another sitcom? I don’t think so! This series is touted as a gem among fans and has a cult following in its niche. A hidden masterpiece that awaits your time, only for you to be blown away later.

  1. The Sopranos

One of those TV Series that has changed the game – forever. A crime drama that stands first among equals with The Wire, The Sopranos is an HBO marvel. Most of the cast recurs from the original gangster legend Goodfellas which makes sense because the Sopranos has attention to detail like none!

The criminal families have a way of doing things and more so if they are Italian. A New Jersey mob Boss, Tony Soprano, deals with his everyday problems – within the crime world and outside it. We are shown Caporegime to utmost precision, and the relatability is way too high. A must watch for those suckers of the crime genre.

  1. Fargo

Based on the original 1996 black comedy cult by the Mavericks Coen Brothers, this TV Series just got over its 3rd season with very little to no social media acknowledgement at all. This is a unique attempt in putting Black Comedy genre on screen. Watch with the scrumptious Golden Globe winning a performance by Billy Bob Thornton from the first Season and surrender yourself to some compulsion of finishing the entire Series in one night.

This will keep you at the edge of your chair and won’t let you move an inch.

  1. Better Call Saul

Sure most of you are aware of this show. How many of you have watched this? This was announced while Breaking Bad was still running and people pretended that they are going to watch this. One of the most overlooked TV Series out there, BCS is one hell of TV. If not for the journey of Bob Odenkirk from James McGill to, well, Saul Goodman, watch this one for the always lovely Mike Ehrmantraut. Moreover, guess who just made an appearance in the latest season? Gus Fring!

Do I have your attention now? Now, watch it now!

  1. Californication

Okay, where do I begin to describe this TV show? The ever charming David Duchovny? The oh so cute Natasha McElhone? Or, the sex scenes? Yup, you read it right. Before Game of Thrones, there lies one TV where the scenes are subtle and not always grotesque. I have seen a lot of TV Shows, and this one stands out when it comes to “making love on screen” – bar none!

And did I tell you? Hank Moody’s quotes are killing!

  1. The West Wing

The show made by Aaron Sorkin made him. For those of you who don’t know him, he is just a writer who gave us unbelievably good screenplays in The Social Network, Moneyball and Steve Jobs (not the one with Kutcher, you fool!)

This TV series is about the US Presidential administration. Sounds similar, doesn’t it? But no, it’s not the House of Cards. If I might say this, it is better than it.

  1. Luther

Idris Elba. One name should be enough to pull you out of your misery and embrace you with the hug of savagery! The man who almost broke the code of an all-white James Bond is the reason I love this show so much. The man we all loved in The Wire leads his show now and breaks every known norm in TV acting.

This is a crime drama with Elba in its lead and is a 90% rated Series on Rotten Tomatoes.

  1. The Office

The Office is made in mockumentary style of TV making, which means that the cameras are handheld and shaky and the dialogues are more life-like interview designed. Something we later witnessed in popular shows such as The Modern Family.

The reason I have waited until last to mention The Office is that we all can relate to this. We all have jobs, and we are all a mess at the office – ignoring people we hate and working something that we don’t always love. The Office is just that – and more. It is relatable, it is funny, and it is familiar. A must watch!

  1. Entourage

Maybe, just maybe I might fail to restrict myself to words in describing what this series means to me. Do you like friendship? Watch this. You like Hollywood? WATCH THIS.

Entourage remains to be the most loved TV series among those who have watched it.

“I am still to find a better TV Series” is a common statement among fans.

There is just one name that is enough in compelling you to binge watch this series this weekend. Ari Gold. Back to back winner of 3 Emmy Awards and one Golden Globe, Jeremy Piven landed the role of a lifetime when Wahlberg created Entourage.

“There’re no asterisks in this life, only scoreboards, and ours is currently reading fucked.”

“Lloyd: Ari, swear to me that you will never again say anything offensive to me about my race or my sexual orientation.

Ari: I can’t swear to that, but I promise I will always apologise after.”

Another name is Johnny Drama.

E: That’s mean Drama!

[In the kitchen, E, Turtle, and Drama are hearing the loud voices of a girl having $ex with Dom]

Drama: [checks watch after a girl reaches orgasm] Couple of minutes more he would have had my record beat.

Honorable mentions: Parks & Recreation, White Collar, Hannibal, Family Guy and much more. List down some of the series you have liked while growing up.
